I visited this facility
I did see a library in Covenant Village. They also have a swimming pool and an all-purpose type room where they put on different programs. They also have a room put aside for Veterans. In their dining room, they have a bistro and a formal dining room. The food was excellent. The apartments are very spacious. They have 2-bedrooms, 2 walk-in closets, and 2 bathrooms. They also have 1-bedroom apartments. They have good refrigerators, stoves, and dishwashers.

The service is horrible from upper and lower management. The facility doesn't take care of the patients when they ask for help. No protocol and guidance for health assessment plan. Patients are mistreated unfairly. The staff are concern more about their paycheck than the patients.

Covenant Village of Florida was very nice, had friendly staff, and had very nice apartments. The room was like a condo, and they have some that are bigger than others. They are very comfortable and just enough for what you need. The food was good, and they have a formal and casual dining. They have different places you can eat at on the property. They have concerts, excursions to the beach, exercise like tai chi, and everything you can think about.

My Mother is living at Palm Villa Assisted living and I can truly share that as negative as your emotions are when you have to make decisions for your parents, this was the most positive move ever. Mother is so much more social and outgoing! She even expresses how secure she feels and how much she loves those around her. The STAFF is above what you would ever dream of. One thing I have learned through this is that many of the issues that I have come across are my own issues, that come from unanticipated emotions that you naturally experience through life changes. This is the most wonderful environment! I am so grateful for this wonderful home of love, friendship, and genuine care for my Mother.

We chose Covenant Village of Florida because of the convenience to the facilities that we are familiar with. They have programs to keep us busy. We're happy with our choice and the facilities there. My wife and I will be having a two-bedroom and two baths. It's a great place.

We are in Covenant Village. The staff is very good. The rooms are clean. They have someone come by and clean the rooms every 2 weeks. They dust, and they look after the apartments. The food is very good. They activities like games, and there is a library. They had a bus that will take you to particular places. We have a 24-hour security.

Everything about the Covenant Village of Florida was good. I liked it, and I have nothing bad to say about it at all. The rooms and the recreation area were nice. The people who live there that I met, and those who were showing me around, were pleasant. The grounds and the buildings themselves were clean and pleasant. Everything they offered was nice.

The rooms at Covenant Village were fine. The people I visited are members of my church, and they are very happy there. They have a lot of activities. They have cards, shows, and knitting. They have all kinds of stuff. They have trips also. I like the cost. It is OK. However, Covenant Village is too far away from me.

I found Palm Villa in Covenant Village a warm and nurturing place. There are activities designed to promote social relationships between residents and the staff are kind, courteous, and caring toward the residents. Planned activities include: live music by a singing accordion player specializing in music from the 1930's and 1940's, shout out word games, balloon volleyball, ice cream parties (make your own sundae),introduce newcomer parties, holiday sing-a-longs, walks around the facility. These are just a few of the activities I happened to witness while I was visiting there. It is difficult to reach my mom by phone. She is rarely in her room during the day because the staff keep her busy. A knock on her door and a head popping in lets her know if it's time to eat or an activity is happening She introduces me to the staff proudly and shows obvious trust and affection toward them. I feel lucky to have my mom in Palm Villa.

The Covenant Village of Florida assisted living facility was recommended by a friend in the region as an option for my friend's mother. The outside resembled a very nicely maintained condo community. We really liked that there was bright light throughout. The interior design was very lovely. Because the weather is so mild, the residents enjoy being outside on a year round basis. The staff appeared to accommodate all levels of ambulation and regularly takes residents on many outings into the community to enjoy all that it has to offer. The seniors may enjoy everything from art exhibits to fine dining, festivals and fairs. The dining areas offered the kind of food that you would find in an upscale restaurant. The food we saw looked and smelled delicious. The menus included food options for all kinds of diets. Seniors are encouraged to enjoy physical activity as much as possible. The residents enjoy yoga and aerobics classes, sometimes held outdoors. Private units featured beautifully decorated surroundings, all with great views from nice windows. They offer a variety of living arrangements, from residential spaces to skilled nursing which they can adjust as needed. The seniors appeared very content here, with just the level of care necessary and attention whenever they desired.

Everybody at Covenant Living of Florida has been friendly and helpful. I couldn't say enough about Annie, who is the sales director. She held our hands through the entire process of moving my parents in. The facilities are all very well maintained and it's like living on a cruise ship. Having everything on site stood out the most to us. Everything is at your fingertips. Three activities are going on every hour. There's wellness, health, fitness, strength, and balancing, caregiver classes, all sorts of crafts, woodworking, flower arrangement, wreath building, plus games like mahjong, bunco, and Wii bowling. There's just so much to do. Then there are multiple dining rooms. There's a bistro, a coffee shop, and the main dining room. The food in the main dining room is average, the one from the bistro is above average and has great service, while the coffee shop offers very good food. It's a few hundred thousand dollars to move in because you're in a life contract. It's $5,000 a month for the unit they are in, but they're in a two-bedroom, two-bath. It's about 1500 square feet with a large 18 by 18 patio and 10 foot high ceilings. It's nice and it comes with maid service.

Covenant Living of Florida is a CCRC. They have everything. They also have assisted living, skilled nursing, and memory care. We didn't like the facility. We were looking for a parking place and I didn't feel very comfortable about the way it looked. However, it is right next to Central Park and you can walk into it from the parking lot. I think that's probably a big benefit for a lot of people. We found an apartment there that we liked a lot, but it didn't have a view. The patio and the view were not that great. We didn't have a meal, but we visited the restaurant and they have two kinds of restaurants, one where you can go in and take out and one where you can sit down and have a meal. It looked fine and the food looked good. The facility, to me, was a little rundown. It felt like you were in a nursing home. We'd rather feel like we're in an apartment. We learned a little bit about it and also, we are not sure that we want to go into a CCRC. We have to put a lot of money upfront. They have everything there. You can stay there until you die. If somebody is looking for a place soon, they have quite a bit of availability. The staff during the tour was good.

I liked Covenant Living of Florida for my uncle because it's a closer location to where I live. I also like it because it is multilevel care. Also, it's a one-time buy in with affordable rent. He would be in the independent and moving on to assisted. Everything is up to date, very clean, very spacious, and seemed more like a small resort. Their maintenance department has kept things clean and updated. It has close proximity to where I live.

My apt. is spacious, clean, and newly renovated (according to my desired specifications), with a fully equipt kitchen. My own furniture fit in here perfectly, so I immediately felt at home the first day I moved in. I have the most friendly neighbors, and yet we all respect each other's privacy. The staff are all so friendly, caring and helpful. The grounds are kept up with beautiful landscaping. We have several libraries, a card room, a Creative Arts Room to do painting, floral arrangements, creating bears for non-profit organizations that care for children, card making and a host of other creative activities. There are prayer groups, Bible studies, book clubs, sing-alongs, and a well equipt gym with my favorite Cybercycle, as well as 2 swimming pools. Other activities include bingo, fitness classes, dance classes, wii bowling. Prior to the shelter-in-place due to the Corona virus, the residents enjoyed off-campus trips to the beach, museums, concerts, etc. We also got to enjoy entertainment provided by professional musicians and actors, as well as school students, and the most popular annual Christmas show put on by the administration and staff. I am so grateful to be a resident in this community. I feel loved and cared for here.

Covenant Village of Florida was older, and they've crowded more buildings onto what may have been a spacious campus originally. It gave the impression of being jammed together, so the atmosphere was not pleasant in that respect. The rooms were smaller compared to the other places. They had better gym facilities and indoor and outdoor pools. The buy-in was a little lower, but still pretty hefty. We had good information from the sales representative and the residents seemed happy with what they have. The public areas, the libraries, and the dining facility were nice. They had outside sitting areas around the outdoor pool.

Nursing Home Reviews for Covenant Living of Florida

The Covenant Living was a really nice place. It was very restrictive because of this COVID stuff, and they only allowed me to schedule a visit by email, and then they would take us and bring my friend to me. I could not go into the facility based on the rules, but from what I saw of it and the staff that I know, I was very, very well impressed. The place was relatively new and very clean, and the staff was very professional. I did not get to tour the facility other than the one area where I would meet with my friend for an hour or so. The surroundings were nice. It's in a middle class neighborhood and a lot of retirees live in that area. They took care of her, they gave her nursing care, and they even had a staff doctor there. She did not have any complaints, and she said that they were taking care of her well. I also asked her about the food, and she said it was OK.

I had toured Covenant Living of Florida. It's not like that the facility wasn't nice, but they were pushy, expensive, and were always trying to talk you into as much as they could get you to spend. My mother went to in-house rehab there and I would rate that as zero. I would never want her to be at the 24/7 level care there. It was horrible. I don't know about the staff because I just did a tour, and it was just the sales director that I met. The facility was well kept and clean. There weren't a lot of grounds. Their sales force was too pushy. There are several buildings that they have there.
